Brunswick Student Sees Stars During Vacation

from The Frederick News-Post, November 24, 1969

While you hear stories about fans surrounding the building and chatting "We want Barnabas!", Debra Care, a high school student in Brunswick, Maryland patiently waited her turn in line and was given a personal meeting with David Selby, whom she referred to as Quentin. Although she was disappointed by the absence of Jonathan Frid she was impressed by Selby's giving personality and called him "very groovy and mod"! Haha. Such was the time I guess.

She also got a glance of Thayer David, who was then playing Professor Stokes, and was either too underwhelmed to describe the experience or simply had no words.
